Over £600 raised by Alwoodley School

After two amazing fundraising events, the pupils and staff at Alwoodley School have already raised a staggering £627 with more to come in the future.

They first raised over £200 selling Elliot's Footprint pin badges to everyone they knew.

After a meeting of School Council it was decided that pupils would have a 'wear red day' with all students raising money and taking part. They raised a further £359 from this and looked amazing in the process.

John Kerslake of Elliot's Footprint said:

' We are so proud of every single pupil at Alwoodley. They have shown such excitement and positivity about our charity and have come up with some great fundraising ideas. Well done to the whole school with what they have raised so far!'

The students hope to raise more money by having a School Disco in which some of the ticket money will be donated to Elliot's Footprint.
