Over £5,000 raised as supporters paint it Red!

On the 19th of May over 120 guests helped raise over £5,000 for Elliot’s Footprint at the Royal Armouries, marking the 4 year anniversary of the charities creation in style.

In a night full of glitz and glamour friends and supporters of Elliot’s Footprint heard from Sarah Mace, a trustee of the charity, as she gave an emotional speech to open the night. She highlighted the amazing work Elliot’s Footprint has done in its first four years, as well as paying tribute to the strength and courage of the Kerslake's (Elliot’s family).

The focus of the night was celebration and Elliot’s favorite colour, red. Guests enjoyed an amazing three course meal before taking part in games and bidding on the main auction. A signed Geoff Hurst England shirt went for £500, with a fantastic 4 night stay at Town End Farm going for £1,000.

For the first time a 50/50 draw was held with Sally Akeroyd winning £662 on the night with number 00335.

Guests then danced the night away to the amazing Dandelion Charm before going home after an amazing night for Elliot’s Footprint.

John Kerslake, Founder Trustee, said: ‘We we’re so happy so many people came out to support Elliot’s Footprint tonight. To sell out the venue with a week to spare just shows how much we have grown in 4 years and how important our work is to our supporters. It’s very humbling.’

Andrea Kerslake added: ‘It was such a fun night, everyone looked fantastic and we are grateful for everyone's love and support on such a special night.’
